Finishing
CONCRETE PLINTHS
To obtain an optimal finishing and to protect your crop against ground frost, we place concrete plinths over the full length and wide of your greenhouse. The concrete plinths are 12mm thick, 50cm high and have an aluminium profile in order to fasten the plastic
DOORS
Vermako delivers a big assortment of doors tailored to the needs of the client.
The doors are made of aluminium. We mainly work with doors in rails which can easily slide open.
A standard door is 4 by 4 meters.
The height and width can vary from 1.5m to 5m and can be made in 2 parts. This is on application.
Every door can be made with single our double plastic On demand we can even use eco panels.
WALLS
We combine partitions in plastic (single/double and inside or outside) with eco panels (on application).
The partitions can be fix or rollable.
SIDE VENTILATION
Our greenhouses can have ventilation via their side. This can be sliding or rollable.
BIRDS-SCARED
To prevent from having birds spending their time on your ridge or gutter, we have a system to keep the birds away from your nursery, named: Birds-scared.
HALLS
To make sure your company, your fields, greenhouse space and pot or packing department make up as a whole, we can offer you halls, finished with ecopanels.
PLASTIC
All our greenhouses are finished with thermal anti-fog plastic with a thickness of 0.18mm to 0.2mm and a diffuse light transmission of 92%.
We can offer you 48 months of suppliers guarantee in Middle European climate.
Which kind of plastic we place, will be decided in dialogue with the customer, taking into account the nature of the crop.
All our greenhouses can be placed with double plastic. This has many advantages.
First of all, there is less loss of light because of a minimum of condensation.
Once the double plastic is blown op, there is a better isolation which can result in a reduction of the heating costs with 40%.
At least, the double plastic generates a more constant temperature in the greenhouse.
The choice of the plastic depends on the nature of your crop. It’s the plastics duty to optimally protect your crop against all negative external influences and create an ideal microclimate for their growth.
Their are a number of factors which are important for each greenhouse, such as high light fall, long life terms and good mechanical properties. It is important to use the right plastic to create the climate desired.
Each plastic has different characteristics. This can be achieved by certain additives
For example:
Thermicity
The addition of mineral fillers or co-polymers like EVA reduce longwave infra-red radiation (heat) leaving the greenhouse. Slower cooling under thermic films keeps heating costs down.
Diffusion
Light transmission is an important feature of greenhouse film. It is however of equal importance to make a difference between direct and indirect or diffused light. Too much direct light may create a harmful influence on plant growth, especially in regions with intense sunlight. Addition of mineral fillers results in a broader and more equal light dispersion. This diffused light reduces the stress and has a positive influence on the plant growth.
Anti-fogging
Condensation drops are blocking a part of the (PAR) light (up to 15%) and can also damage the plants. By adding special additives, the condensation on the film will form a thin water layer that is drained off to the side of the greenhouse/tunnel. Result: more light in the greenhouse.
UV-blocking / Anti-Petal Blackening
Ultraviolet radiation doesn’t always contribute to plant growth, but can cause damage to the crop in some cases. By adding special additives that block the UV-light, this radiation cannot enter the greenhouse. Thanks to UV-blocking, the so-called ‘petal blackening’ of roses is avoided.
