Callens Recycling wanted to extend its existing cover and connect the new structure directly to the existing warehouse. The requirements were clear: 15 metres of clear height and not a single column in the working area. Telehandlers, cranes and excavators need to manoeuvre freely, without obstruction and without the risk of colliding with the structure.

Our solution

Lean-to roof at great height

Vermako built a 2,000 m² lean-to roof with 15 metres of clear height, seamlessly connected to the existing warehouse. Thanks to our expertise in lattice structures, we bridge wide spans, keeping the entire working area free of columns. We handled the stability study and the concrete works entirely ourselves, so Callens Recycling could stay focused on its own operations.
