Maximum clear space for an intensive transhipment site

Transferium needed a cover for a huge area where wood, waste and other bulk flows are processed. The site had to remain operational for heavy transport, high stacking and intensive traffic, without compromising on safety, daylight or workflow. A standard solution simply was not enough.

Our solution

Smart engineering with maximum span

Vermako built a 7,000 m² translucent cover with a clear span of 65 metres and a clear height of 14 metres. This structure guarantees maximum accessibility for machinery, optimal stacking space and a bright, dry and safe work zone. The result is a high-performance, future-proof transhipment environment, perfectly suited to heavy operational conditions.
